Albuquerque is quite the dog-friendly city, from many restaurants that allow dogs to an abundance of dog parks. There are 13 dog parks for running off leash.
The parks are open from 6am to 10pm daily. Chances are, you’ll want to bring your own water, however, as most parks don’t have it available. Keep in mind that children younger than 12 are not allowed inside the off-leash dog exercise areas unless accompanied by an adult. Albuquerque also requires your dogs to be up-to-date on shots, licensed, microchipped, and spayed or neutered.
